A Minnesota Resort is the perfect setting for a family reunion. Our family reunion guests tell us how much they enjoy reconnecting with family members in such a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere that has plenty for everyone to do and enjoy! Loon Point Resort has the accommodations and variety of activities that will keep everyone in your family happy! Choose one large cabin or multiple cabins. Whatever suits your style and your family. All of our cabins are fully equipped with all the cooking utensils you’ll need and plenty of dishes. The larger units all have a TV/DVD, dishwasher, air conditioning, and a gas log fireplace.
If you like the feel of a log cabin and want to be on the main resort, then choose from one of our new full log cabins. Tamarack is the largest with 4 bedrooms plus a loft and 2 full baths. It will accommodate up to 14 persons and is situated a short distance from the playground and the beach. It has a large screened porch with a picnic table. You will fall in love with this cabin – the spacious feel and northwoods décor will keep you coming back year after year!
Our Maple cabin is a 4 bedroom, 2 full bath log cabin. You’ll enjoy the great view of the lake while sitting in the screened porch. The cabin accommodates up to 10 persons. Larger family groups often will take the Balsam log cabin along with Maple. Balsam was built the same year as Maple (2007) and is right next door. It has 3 bedrooms, a bath and a half and a nice screened porch also overlooking the lake. It will accommodate up to 8 persons.
Some family groups would like a combination of one large cabin (so you can congregate when you want to, eat meals together, etc.) with several smaller, classic cabins. If there are some in your family group who like having their own private space, this is a good option. Our five classic cabins on the main resort – Red Pine, JackPine, Birch, Aspen and Spruce – will give you the flexibility to arrange your family reunion in the way that suits you!
Finally, for a family group who really wants some privacy, consider the White Pine cabin. White Pine is situated on 2 acres of lakeshore and is a spacious 1800 sq. foot lakehome with a spectacular view of Wasson lake. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, laundry facilities, a walk-out lower level with a screened porch. The twin trundle in the lower walk out level and the futon and sofabed in the living areas bring the sleeping accommodations up to 14. There is a private dock and the cabin is only about a 5 minute walk from the main resort. This cabin is well-suited for a family or group of friends. As with all the resort facilities, boats and motors are available to rent.

White Pine
"Perfect for a multi-family reunion or a group of friends."
White Pine is a privately situated lakehome with a fantastic view of the lake. It will accommodate up to 14 persons. With 4 bedrooms, two full baths, large living/dining/kitchen area, walkout lower level with a large screened porch, plus laundry facilities, you won’t have to worry about feeling crowded! White Pine is perfect for those who would like the feel of a private cabin rental but still want the amenities a resort has to offer. You’ll have your own private dock plus your own private campfire pit and a nice area for playing your favorite yard games. White Pine even has an extra refrigerator in the attached garage. And when you want to use the resort facilities, you can either boat, walk (a mere 7 minute walk by a private drive), or drive over.
