📍Direct Trail Access from the resort: From Loon Point Resort, ride the spur (about 1 mile) to the Herb Brandstrom Trails.

Heading west and north puts you on some of the most favorite, scenic ATV trails with fun “ride-to” destinations and easy trail connections.

If you’re looking for a short scenic ride, ride the Balsam Trail to the Balsam Store. If your goal is put on miles, head east to the Side Lake area.

YES! Oh my goodness. If you love fall, the colors, the cool nights, and that autumn smell of the falling leaves, the area is prime for this. This is our FAVORITE time of year!!! ❤️
How long does it take to ride to Bigfork from the resort?
That will depend on how often you stop along the trail. When our friends come up to ride, we typically leave the resort at 10 am and get to the Pizza Parlor in Bigfork around noon. We like to stop often on the trail to chit-chat :-). After lunch at the Pizza Parlor, you can walk across the parking lot to the Wilderness Bar for a drink. On our way back to the resort, we always stop at the Antler Store and Antler Lodge for a bathroom break, a snack, and/or a drink. To support our local businesses! ⭐
Is Loon Point Resort good for ATV groups?
Yes! We are a great home base for group trips with ready-to-ride access, cabin comfort, trailer parking, and lake access.
